HUHN, John R., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, July 7, 1856 in Tamaqua, Schuylkill County, Pa.; proprietor, Henry Huhn and Co., brick manufacturer; director, Master Builders’ Exchange of Philadelphia; president, Brick Manufacturers’ Association; elected, school board, 7th Ward (1886-1893); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1902, 1904, 1906, and 1908; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1910); died, November 22, 1921 in Worcester, Worcester County, Massachussetts.
