TOMLINSON, Robert M. “Tommy,” a Representative from Bucks County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County; Pa., December 4, 1945; graduated, Bensalem High School, 1964; graduated, Bordentown Military Institute, 1965; B.S., West Chester State College (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania), 1970; B.S., mortuary science, Miami Dade University, 1971; funeral director and owner, Tomlinson Funeral Home; member and president, Bensalem Township School Board (1978-1990); past president, Bucks County Intermediate Unit; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1990, reelected in 1992; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1994-2022); member, board of directors, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) (1995-2022); trustee, West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
