HOLCOMB, Lorrie R., a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Askam, Luzerne County, Pa., October 3, 1870; attended, Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, 1895; LL.B., Dickinson College, 1901; court clerk, Luzerne County court (1895-1897); lawyer; school director, Hanover Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1903 term; reelected to serve 1905 term; resigned from the House, April 13, 1905; appointed, director, Central Poor District, Luzerne County (1920-1923); gubernatorial appointee, chair, board of arbitration of claims, Pennsylvania Department of Auditor General (1940); died, February 11, 1951 in Lehman, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
