HOBBS, Alfred F., a Representative from Lackawanna County; born in Benton Township, Luzerne County (now Lackawanna County), Pa., February 14, 1860; graduated, Keystone Academy (now Keystone College); mercantile business; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Fleetville, Pa.; solicitor, collector, reporter, Scranton Republican (Tribune-Republican); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1911 and 1913 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1915 term; died, November 22, 1946 in the city of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California; interred, Grand View Memorial Park, Glendale, Los Angeles County, California.
