HICKERNELL, Charles Thomas, a Representative from Lebanon County; born in Schaefferstown, Lebanon County, Pa., February 12, 1878; graduated, Keystone State Normal School (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania); graduated, Dickinson College School of Law (now Dickinson Penn State Law), 1903; teacher (6 years); lawyer (50 years); president, Schaefferstown Fire Company (1909-1948); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1919 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1921 term; elected, District Attorney, Lebanon County (1931-1934); died, January 14, 1966 in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Schaefferstown Cemetery, Schaefferstown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
