HAYES, Roy W., a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, 1881 in Broadford, Fayette County, Pa.; graduated, California State College (now Pennsylvania Western University, California), 1900; graduated, Washington and Jefferson College, 1904; first lieutenant, air corps, American Expenditionary Forces, United States Army (World War I); employed, McFeely Brick Company; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1920; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922); employed, Saxman Coal and Coke Company; died, November 28, 1935 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
