HARTZELL, Rein K., a Representative from Lehigh County; born in Harleysville, Montgomery County, Pa., August 5, 1877; graduated, Muhlenberg College, 1898; graduated, Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1901; attended, Harvard University Medical School; physician, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia; surgeon, Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1906; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1908); died, May 5, 1927 in the city of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
