HARRIS, Frank G., a Representative from Clearfield County; born, November 6, 1845 in Karthaus Township, Clearfield County, Pa.; graduated, Dickinson Seminary (now Lycoming College), 1873; graduated, Lafayette College, 1876; lumberman (13 years); teacher (4 years); grammar school principal; lawyer; chair, Clearfield County Republican Committee (1881-1883); elected, council, Clearfield (7 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1896, 1898 and 1900; resigned from the House, April 30, 1902; elected, Pennsylvania State Treasurer (1902-1904); engaged, real estate; director, Clearfield Trust Company; director, Clearfield Hospital; died, May 20, 1929 in Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
