HAMILTON, Joseph E., a Representative from Bradford County; born in Windham Township, Bradford County, Pa., February 7, 1848; graduated, Marathon Academy, NY; graduated, Mansfield Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); stock raising and nursery business; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1901 and 1903 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1905 term; died, June 29, 1909 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, North Orwell Cemetery, North Orwell, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
