HAGGERTY, William, a Representative from Lackawanna County; born in Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pa., October 16, 1870; graduated, Scranton Business College; coal miner; pharmacist; appointed, Assistant City Bacteriologist, Scranton, 1907; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1911 term and served 2 more consecutive terms; died while in office, September 15, 1915 in Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Mary's Cemetery, Dunmore, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
