GROH, Samuel, a Representative from Lebanon County; born in Swatara Township, Lebanon County, Pa., January 6, 1856; attended, Lebanon Valley College; graduated, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); professor, mathmatics, Palatinate College (now Albright College); superintendent, Lickdale Iron Company (4 years); farmer; drain tile manufacturer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1903 term; chief clerk, glass manufacturer, Virginia; died, May 27, 1933 in Galt, Sacramento County, California; interred, Union-Salem Evangelical Congregational Cemetery, Lickdale, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
