GRAFF, John Francis, a Representative from Armstrong County; born in Worthington, Armstrong County, Pa., August 12, 1857; graduated, Pennsylvania College at Gettysburg (now Gettysburg College), 1879; farmer; co-owner, Peter Graff & Co., woolen manufactures (37 years); director, Merchant’s National Bank of Kittanning; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1901 and 1903 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1905 term; trustee, Gettysburg College; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1913-1918); died while in office of the Senate, June 6, 1918 in Worthington, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
