GRABE, William H., a Representative from Butler County; born in Jefferson Township, Butler County, Pa., December 13, 1851; apprentice with Dornhoff & Goehring, wagon and carriage builders (1869-1876); proprietor, carriage and wagon shop (1877-1880); farmer; elected, tax collector (4 years), road commissioner (4 years), and school director (9 years), Jefferson Township; elected, commissioner, Butler County (1909-1912); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1913 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1915 term; died, April 23, 1934 in Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery, Saxonburg, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
