GOSS, Cloyd Charles, a Representative from Fayette County; born, January 23, 1879 in Altoona, Blair County, Pa.; educated in public schools; private, Company D, 8th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1898-1899, Spanish-American War); employed, DuBois Iron Works; passenger break-man, Pennsylvania Rail Road; passenger conductor, Monongahela Railroad; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1912; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1914); employed, Commodore Coal Company; died, July 18, 1953; interred, Redstone Cemetery, Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
