GOODWIN, Daniel Bert, a Representative from Venango County; born in Plum Township, Venango County, Pa., July 11, 1869; graduated, Grove City College, 1894; M.A., political and social science, Grove City College, 1898; farmer; stenographer for an oil company; attorney; elected, District Attorney, Venango County (1906-1913); elected as Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1914 and 1916; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1918); elected, District Attorney, Venango County (1925-1933); died, November 5, 1935 in Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Diamond, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
