GILLINGHAM, Joseph S., a Representative from Chester County; born in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pa., September 24, 1860; attended, Buckingham Friends Meeting School; attended, New London Academy; farmer; elected, justice of the peace; elected, supervisor, Oxford Township; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1908; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1910 General election; died, March 16, 1932 in Pennsylvania; interred, Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
