REBER, Robert Douglas, Jr., a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pa., June 19, 1947; graduated, Pottsgrove High School, 1965; B.A., political science, Susquehanna University, 1969; J.D., University of Akron School of Law, 1972; attorney; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1980; reelected to 8 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee on Safe Drinking Water (1984); appointed, Select Committee to Investigate Limerick II (1984); appointed, PennVEST (1991-1992); appointed, Wild Resources Board, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (1997-1998); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1998); attorney, Dechert, LLP.
