GAMBLE, Edward Purcell, a Representative from Blair County; born in Beaver Dam, Mifflin County, Pa., August 16, 1863; served, Fifth Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard; merchant; assessor; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 term; resigned from the House, September 30, 1901; deputy factory inspector, Blair County; died, December 21, 1910 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
