FRYE, John H., a Representative from York County; born, June 15, 1864 in Chicago, Cook County, Il.; attended, Bryant and Stratten’s Business College; railroad and commercial telegrapher; proprietor, flour mill; secretary to the school board of directors, Monongahela (1887); elected as a Republican  to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1925 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1927); died, March 24, 1958 in Springettsbury Township, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greenmount Cemetery, York, York County, Pennsylvania.
