FLYTE, Guy Bell, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, May 20, 1873 in Hinsdale, Cattaraugus County, NY; graduated, Hinsdale Union Free School and Academy, 1891; clerk, general store; clerk, Exchange National Bank of Olean, NY; bark accountant, Penn Tanning Company (1895-1898); auditor, Byers-Allen Lumber Company; auditor, Pittsburgh, Westmoreland and Somerset Railroad Company; engaged in the insurance and real estate business; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1904; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); sales manager, Central Pennsylvania Lumber Co.; owner, lumber manufacturing and wholesale trade; died, January 29, 1931 in Forty Fort, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
