FLIEHR, Daniel H., a Representative from Lehigh County; born in Franklin Township, Carbon County, Pa., May 12, 1858; tinsmith; plumber; elected, council, Coopersburg (9 years); United States Patent holder, improvements to the milk can (1888) and improvements of lid lifters for cans (1890); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1904; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); appointed, president, board of health, Cooperstown; appointed, mercantile appraiser, Pennsylvania Auditor General's office (1919); died, April 9, 1925 in Coopersburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Woodland Cemetery, Coopersburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
