FLANAGAN, James J., a Representative from Luzerne County; born, April 7, 1867 in Oldbury, West Midlands, England; coal miner; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1903 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1904); elected, school director, Plymouth; engaged in the timber industry; clerk, Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Co., Kingston (20 years); died, December 21, 1931 in Kingston, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
