FERGUSON, Rev. Thomas James, a Representative from Cumberland County; born in Dry Run, Franklin County, Pa., October 19, 1852; attended, Chambersburg Academy; graduated, Westminster College, 1875; graduated, Allegheny Theological Seminary; pastor, Silver Spring Presbyterian Church; school director (12 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1911 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1913 term; died, August 3, 1937 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Silver Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
