NYCE, Robert E., a Representative from Monroe and Northampton Counties; born on October 14, 1946; graduated, Northampton High School; B.A., accounting, Moravian College; served, United States Army (1967-1969); member, Northampton School Board (1984-1990; vice president, 1986-1987; president, 1987-1989); chair, Bethlehem Area Vo-Tech; member, East Allen Township Municipal Authority; member, Tax Executive Institute (1985-1990); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1991, 1993 and 1995 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1997 term; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania Auditor General (1996); appointed, executive director, Independent Regulatory Review Commission (1996-2004).
