FAIR, Robert Willis, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, March 20, 1851 in Indiana County, Pa.; M.S., Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania), 1875; honorary doctorate of philosophy, Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh), 1892; faculty, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania), (1875-1876); mathematics department chair, Indiana Normal School (now Indiana University of Pennsylvania), (1876-1888); co-founder and co-principal, Kiskiminetas Springs School (1888-1906); elected, delegate, Republican State Convention (1898); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1906 and 1908; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1910); clerk, Pennsylvania Department of Banking (1916-1926); died, September 28, 1926 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.; interred in Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
