EVANS, Thomas Charles, a Representative from Cambria County; born, January 26, 1884 in Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pa.; graduated, Ebensburg High School, 1901; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania), 1902-1903; graduated, University of Michigan Law School, 1912; attorney; elected, burgess, Portage (1918-1922); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1926 and 1930; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1928); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1932); died in 1966; interred, Prospect Cemetery, Portage, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
