EDLIS, Adolph, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, August 15, 1860 in Hungary; president, Edlis Barbers’ Supply Company; elected, city council, Pittsburgh (1897-1898); elected, chair, 7th Ward Republican Executive Committee (1898); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1904; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1906); elected, treasurer, Pittsburgh (1911-1915); president, Edlis Beauty Supply Company; died, April 3, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred at the Poale Zedeck Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
