DODDS, William, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, July 27, 1864 in Haswell, Durham County, England; coal miner; elected, vice president, Pittsburgh District Mine Workers (1898); elected, secretary-treasurer, Pittsburgh District Mine Workers (1899-1906); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1915 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1917 term; elected, clerk of courts, Allegheny County (1906-1909); died, May 5, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Mount Lebanon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
