DENGLER, Robert Effinger, a Representative from Berks County; born in Birdsboro, Berks County, Pa., July 8, 1889; proprietor, retail ice business (1919-1940); elected, council, Birdsboro (1923-1925); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1925, 1927 and 1929 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1930); steward, private club; died in December of 1983; interred, Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Birdsboro, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
