DECKER, William N., a Representative from Lehigh County; born in New Oxford, Adams County, Pa., March 30, 1873; graduated, American Business College, Allentown; graduated, Ursinus College; M.E., Cumberland Valley State Normal School (now Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania), 1895; bookkeeper, F. Hersh Hardware Company (3 years); school teacher; school principal; elected, secretary, Altoona school board (18 years); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1907 and 1909 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; clerk, Fleetwing Aircraft Company, Bristol, Pa.; elected, secretary, council, Macungie; died, December 27, 1944 in Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
