DAVIS, William Henry Harrison, a Representative from Chester County; born in West Bradford Township, Chester County, Pa., September 29, 1850; attended, Downingtown Academy; machinist apprentice (5 years); journeyman machinist (6 years); machinist, Wilmington & Northern Railroad (3 years); farmer; elected as a Democratic Fusion candidate to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1906; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1910; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House as a Democrat (1908, 1912); died, May 7, 1936 in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bradford Cemetery, Marshallton, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
