DAVIS, William, a Representative from Cambria County; born in Carroll Township, Cambria County, Pa., December 13, 1861; attended, Indiana Normal School (now Indiana University of Pennsylvania); graduated, University of Michigan Law School, 1892; teacher; lawyer; appointed, solicitor, Cambria County Poor Board (1 term); elected, solicitor, Cambria County (3 terms); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1917 and 1919 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1921 term; died, March 21, 1931.
