CURRY, Richard, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, August 7, 1864 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; construction superintendent, Keystone Paving & Construction Co.; copyist, United States Department of the Navy; secretary, Republican Executive Committee of Philadelphia; elected as a Republican in a Special Election on February 19, 1901; Sworn-In on February 25, 1901 to serve the remaining 1901 term; reelected to the House for the 1903 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1905 term; reelected to the House for the 1907 term and for 6 more consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1921 term; died, August 18, 1941 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
