HASTE, Jeffrey T., a Representative from Dauphin County; born 1959; graduated, Lewistown Area High School, 1977; B.S. administration of justice and law enforcement, Shippensburg State College (now Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania), 1981; director of government relations, Herbert, Rowland and Grubic; administrator, chief clerk and personnel director, Dauphin County (1988-1996); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, January 30, 1996; Sworn-In, February 13, 1996 to serve the remaining 1995 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1996); chair, Susquehanna Township Recreation Board (2001); member, Susquehanna Township Zoning Hearing Board; elected, commissioner, Dauphin County (2002-present); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (2012, 2016).
