CUMBLER, Charles C., a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Enhaut, Dauphin County, Pa., September 13, 1871; attended, Harrisburg Business College; farmer; superintendent, limestone quarries (15 years); school director (12 years); director, Steelton, Highspire, and Middletown Railway Company; director, Steelton Brick Company; director, Steelton Planning Mill Company; director, Steelton Trust Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1909 term and reelected to serve the following term; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1913 General election; elected, commissioner, Dauphin County (1916-1927); unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Dauphin County (1935, 1939); died, March 21, 1951 in Swatara Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
