CRUMLING, Horace L., “Harris,” a Representative from York County; born in Hallam Township, York County, Pa., September 17, 1857; attended, York County Normal School; general store clerk (1870-1883); publishing agent, Great Eastern Map Co. (3 years); cigar manufacturer (1883-1903); school director, Hallam Township; proprietor, Hallam Hotel and the Hotel Wilson; director, Wrightsville and Hallam Mutual Fire Insurance Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of  Representatives for the 1907 and 1909 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; died, April 1, 1919 in Hallam Township, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville, York County, Pennsylvania.
