CROSS, John Adair, a Representative from Butler County; born, February 16, 1872 in Kansas; employed in the oil field, later becoming a drilling contractor and oil producer; elected, Bruin school board (13 years); director and president, National Bank of Bruin; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1925 and 1927 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1929 term; died, October 4, 1956 in Greenford, Mahoning County, Ohio; interred, Greenlawn Cemetery, Greenford, Mahoning County, Ohio.
