CRITCHFIELD, Dr. John Burnworth, a Representative from Clinton County; born, September 30, 1875 in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pa.;  graduated, Central State Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); M.D., Medico-Chirurgical College (now University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine); post graduate courses, Johns Hopkins University and Howard University; served, Medical Corps, United States Army (1898, Spanish-American War); American Expeditionary Forces, United States Army (World War I); District Medical Supervisor, Pennsylvania State Department of Health; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1924 and served one term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1926); died, March 18, 1940 in Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Marys Cemetery, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
