CRAIG, Walter Hibshman, a Representative from Delaware County; born, February 24, 1880 in the city of Chester, Delaware County, Pa.; graduated, Chester High School; attended, Pierce Business College; president, Penn Ice Works, Inc. (1901-1920); proprietor, Penn Purity Ice Cream (1914-1920); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1923 and 1925 terms; resigned from the House, September 1, 1925; elected, council, city of Chester (1925-1937; director of accounts and finances, 1935-1937; director, parks and public property, 1925-1935); died, November 25, 1937 in the city of Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania; interred, Chester Rural Cemetery, city of Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
