COLLIER, Merchant Lee, a Representative from Fayette County, born, August 11, 1886 in Georges Township, Fayette County, Pa.; attended, Madison Academy; attended, Southwestern Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western University, California); attended, Douglas Business College; proprietor, meat and grocery business; proprietor, small coal operating business; farmer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1920); foreman, Pennsylvania State Highway Department; died, June 8, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Oliver, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
