COLE, James Clement, a Representative from Adams County; born in Menallen Township, Adams County, Pa., November 3, 1880; head sawyer, lumber company; partner, Tate and Cole lumber company; fruit farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1909 term and reelected to serve the following term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1913 term; director, Arendstville National Bank; Democratic Chair, Adams County (1930-1934); sealer of Weights and Measures, Adams County (1935); died, August 20, 1942 in Menallen Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Orrtanna, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
