CLYDE, Samuel Dyer, a Representative from Delaware County; born, November 3, 1872 in the city of Chester, Delaware County, Pa.; captain, Company C, 6th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (1892-1898; Spanish American War, 1898); insurance broker; real estate agent, Sweeney and Clyde; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1907 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1909 term; died, November 5, 1955 in Swarthmore, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
