CLOVIS, Roy W., a Representative from Greene County; born, June 6, 1889 in Greene County, Pa.; graduated, Waynesburg College, 1911; seaman, 2nd class, United States Navy (1918-1919, World War I); farmer; natural gas and oil producer; elected, school board of directors, Gilmore Township; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1928; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1930); died, April 30, 1981 in Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
