CAUFFIEL, Paul Wendell, a Representative from Cambria County; born, Johnstown, Cambria County, Pa. on March 2, 1895; B.S., Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, 1917; attended, United States School of Military Aeronautics, Princeton, NJ, 1918; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1922; second lieutenant, Signal Corps, United States Army (1917-1919, World War I); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1928 and 1930; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1932); died, September 21, 1956 in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania; interred, Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania.
