CAMPBELL, Wilson Scott, a Representative from Carbon County; born in Mauch Chunk (Jim Thorpe), Carbon County, Pa., April 28, 1862; driver boy, Lehigh Canal; passenger conductor, Central Railroad of New Jersey (60 years); elected, poor director, Middle Coal Field Poor District; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1909 term and served 1 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1911 term; died, February 25, 1954 in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mauch Chunk Cemetery, Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
