CALHOUN, William Henry, Sr., a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pa., March 2, 1858; farmer; nailer; organized, Calhoun’s Band; elected, warden, Northumberland County prison (1920-1924); elected, city council, Northumberland; appointed, city treasurer, Northumberland; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1925 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1927 term; died, March 17, 1935 in Northumberland, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
