CALDWELL, William J., a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Limestone Township, Montour County, Pa., September 1, 1859; graduated, Central State Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); farmer; traveling salesman; school director, Turbot Township (9 years); elected, council, Milton; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1910 and 1912; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1914); died, February 11, 1935 in Watsontown, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Milton Cemetery, Milton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
