BUSHONG, Robert Grey, a Representative from Berks County; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., June 10, 1883; graduated, Phillips Academy, 1899; A.B., Yale University, 1903; LL.B., Columbia University, 1906; lawyer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1908; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1910, 1912); president judge, Orphan’s Court of Berks County (1914-1915); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1916, 1924); elected, United States Congress (1927-1929); died, April 6, 1951 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
