BUFFINGTON, William G., a Representative from Jefferson County; born in New Salem, Armstrong County, Pa., July 28, 1864; educated in public schools; farmer; barber; elected, treasurer, Jefferson County (1909-1912); elected, register and recorder, Jefferson County (1916-1920); member, State Republican Committee (1918); elected, clerk of courts, Jefferson County; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1926; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1928 General election; real estate sales; died, February 14, 1957 in Cranford, New Jersey; interred in New Jersey.
