BRUNGES, Stanley R., a Representative from Wyoming County; born in Eaton Township, Wyoming County, Pa., February 8, 1852; graduated, Keystone Academy; dairy farmer; member, school board, Tunkhannock; supervisor, Tunkhannock; appointed, poor master, Tunkhannock; elected, treasurer, Tunkhannock; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican to two nonconsecutive terms in 1896 and 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1898, 1900, 1904); died, September 12, 1937 in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
